About Us
Ecoblog.it covers the environment and everything closely tied to it: energy, sustainability, climate, green mobility, energy saving and the protection of ecosystems. We do it through daily news, practical guides and in-depth pieces, trying each time to explain not only what happened, but why it matters and how it affects the people reading us.
What we write about
Our main themes are climate change and the weather events that are its most visible signal; the energy transition, from renewables to building efficiency; sustainable mobility; waste management and the circular economy; biodiversity and the protection of ecosystems. Alongside the news, we publish content that is immediately useful: how to cut household consumption, how to find your way through incentives and rebates, how to make lower-impact purchasing decisions.
How we work
We believe that when it comes to the environment there is far more noise than there is data. That is why we try to start from primary sources — scientific studies, reports from agencies and research institutes, official documents — and to cite them, so that readers can check and dig deeper for themselves. We draw a clear line between reporting, commentary and editorials, and when we get something wrong we correct it and flag the correction.
We do not claim to be neutral on the importance of the climate crisis: we think it is real and urgent. What we do promise is to be honest about the facts, not to reach for alarmism in order to collect clicks, and not to turn a single hot or cold day into definitive proof of anything.
